Postpartum consisted of encouraging mom and baby bonding as well as assisting in breastfeeding and getting baby to latch. BUBBLEHE assessments were conducted on mom frequently to ensure proper healing and no complications after delivery. Frequent newborn assessments were done as well as first bathing for the newborn. NICU duties included feeding newborns on a strict time schedule whether it be oral or gavage, assessing a stable condition and maintaining comfort. 120 hours completed. Show less
