  This year I took part in an event management workshop class at the University of Iowa and in this class we were given the task of creating an event for a client. My team and I put on an Earth Day fashion show named Recycled Runway. At this fashion show, university students were to create fashion designs made out of plastic bags in order to have a focus on sustainability. In this team my role was to oversee where the event was to take place and making sure that the venue had all of the things we needed for the event to be as sustainable and as low cost as possible.
