Working as a program naturalist allows me to always be learning about the world around us. Each new interaction, whether it be with a preschool class, a senior's center or a visitor to the nature sanctuary, allows me to share my curiosities. My favorite part of the job is seeing the "ah-ha!" moment after a productive conversation about a misunderstood species. Looking at you snakes and spiders!
