  I began my career with Hutchinson & Bloodgood in 2005 as a Staff Accountant servicing clients, which included write-up services, tax return preparation, and financial statement preparation. In 2010, I became the Controller for the Firm, overseeing the internal financial team for the entire firm. My duties now consist of the following:* Monthly financial statement preparation* Overseeing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & Payroll functions, including enforcing internal controls* Preparing budgets for all offices* Preparing reports from Time & Billing software, assist Partners with billing and other issues as they arise* Assisting with implementation of new policies, procedures and software for the Firm* Assisting the Human Resource Manager with insurance renewal decisions, employee-related issues and other Firm-related issues that arise* Preparing monthly sales tax filings, annual state filings, workers comp renewal information* 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan Administrator
