      Worked as a member of DTLP Mission Based Team to implement Automated Testing across the Business Intelligence teams to improve data quality in BI. Completed an audit of the existing technologies being used by each team as well as mapped existing processes to identify similarities across the teams. Identified most common point was at the ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) level so designing a solution for this part of the process would have the most positive impact and benefit all teams. Researched suitable external and internal ETL testing tools to configure and implement for use by all teams - identified DVO (Data Validation Option) was most suited to our requirements. Worked with DVO Architect to redesign architecture setup for the tool to enhance its performance. Upgraded from version 9 to 10 to ensure the tool was compatible with Informatica 10 and our current technology landscape making sure we had access to all functionalities. Created both single table and multiple table tests using the tool to compare thousands of records, completing tests in a matter of minutes which would usually take hours by manual data checking methods. Additionally I worked as a Scrum Master for Global Supply Chain on reporting using Excelec applications. Led daily stand up calls, and sprint planning meeting to coordinate work activities. Also worked on implementing more agile practices within the team to improve efficiency and delivery. Analysed road map of hundreds of applications to understand their usage in different teams and determine owners. Put a migration plan in place to decrease number of applications and migrate their essential functionalities into one centralized tool to reduce application footprint across GSC. Show less
