To whom it may concern: I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Kaitlynn Wilcoxson. I had the pleasure of working with Miss Wilcoxson during her internship here at the Central Arizona Project (CAP), and I am thoroughly convinced that she is a motivated and responsible person that understands the value of developing strong relationships. During her time here she developed business acumen and grew in confidence. Miss Wilcoxson joined Central Arizona Project as an intern in the Centralized Learning and Development department in May of 2018. She was tasked with working on projects both inside and outside of the department. Her departmental tasks required her to work with each of the different Centralized Learning and Development team members in their areas of expertise. She exhibited eagerness to learn about each area, and she made valuable contributions in each task she was assigned. The areas she worked in were: 1. The Apprenticeship Program, 2. Crafts and Trades Upgrade Training, 3. Professional and Leadership development and, 4. Special Projects. Her tasks outside of the Learning and Development department gave her insight into the bigger picture of the business and, she proved to be a valuable asset to the department's partners and customers. Miss Wilcoxson also participated in many learning events during her time at CAP. She participated in two modules dedicated to the Supervisor Academy: 1. Human Resources Policies and Processes, and Environmental Responsibility, 2. WorkSmart by Julie Morgenstern. She also attended three sessions within the Leadership Development Program: 1. Change Management, 2. Self-Awareness and, 3. The Leadership Challenge (Kouzes and Posner). In all cases Miss Wilcoxson was an active participant. She not only attended the classes but she participated in all of the pre-work and post-work with each learning event. Where applicable she also assisted in creating content, especially with the self-awareness course. Her performance during the internship was exemplary, and it undoubtedly proved that Miss Wilcoxson will be a success in her chosen field. I am confident that Miss Wilcoxson will prove to be an asset to any institution considering her for employment. I therefore recommend Miss Wilcoxson without reservation. If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact me. Sincerely, Keith Arendall Manager, Learning and Development Central Arizona Project P: 623-869-2669 Email: larendall@cap-az.com

I had the pleasure of having Kaitlynn as an intern the summer of 2015. Kaitlynn is very detailed oriented and did an excellent job as a marketing and social media consultant. She was able to identify strong and weak marketing techniques and steer my company in the appropriate direction. I highly recommend Kaitlynn for any leadership position.

World Affairs Seminar is a one week long seminar in the summer dedicated to educating future leaders on current global issues. My role is to mentor a group of high school delegates from around the world on these world issues and help them create a Capstone Project about that years theme. Previous themes have been World Water, Gender Equity, Global Health, and Global Energy. In 2015 I was promoted to Senior Staff which included additional leadership responsibilities, such as monitoring students and staff as well as coordinating transportation. I have a strong passion for World Affairs Seminar and youth development and believe in the power of young leaders. Show less
