I completed Nutrition Care Plans for each of these patients and became more familiar with the Electronic Medical Record. I returned in the Fall of 2017 to complete my Clinical Rotation of my Dietetic Internship. I regularly saw from 7-12 patients daily by the end of my three week long Staff Relief period. I learned to complete daily activities of a Clinical RD on the Cardiac and Oncology floors including participating in multidisciplinary medical rounds, assessing patients, completing notes in the EMR, and a variety of quality control measurements.
