I have worked with Kaitlin as colleagues in the same office and as partners within different offices at RIT. When an issue occurs, I am continually impressed with her ability to work with staff members to identify the root cause of the issue and then present an actionable solution. I often collaborate with her regarding administrative matters and her attention to detail is astounding. If she finds an error in a system or with a process she presents the feedback in a constructive manner and identifies solutions and next steps. When we worked in the same department Kaitlin was not afraid to step in and offer support and assistance during peak activity times. She shows tremendous initiative, often volunteering to help or move things forward without being asked. She embodies the phrase "lifelong learner" and seeks out new knowledge through online trainings, professional development sessions, ad-hoc assignments, and the accomplishment of her Masters degree while working full time. She has also shown tremendous leadership in the Golisano College through her roles on committees focused on staff recognition, training, and development.
