(company undergoing re-branding)Since I started traveling the world over 7 years ago, I realized to continue traveling I needed to earn some cash at the same time doing something I was passionate about. After staying in more guest houses and hotels than I can count, The realization that the tourism industry was heavily susceptible to hackers helped Yggdrasil Security find its place within the industry. Both ethical hackers using a network to mask their activities and black hat hackers trying to steal people's data. With this information to hand, I decided to provide my skills and knowledge to better protect people and companies from hackers. I created a short 2-hour presentation on how hackers can access your data, what they do with it and how to prevent it. While expanding my own skills in network/web penetration testing and offering these as an extra service. After providing over 20 educational and empowering presentations worldwide and over 30 penetration testing services CyberScope-Security is still going strong and currently helping empower companies worldwide to better protect themselves and their staff from cybersecurity breaches. To find out more please contact our team at info.cyberscope@gmail.comor visit our website at https://www.cyberscopesecuritysolutions.tech

    • Head Chef
      • Jan 2015 - Jan 2016

I was tasked with creating a menu based on the clientele of the cafe. Calculate the costs for each dish and sourcing the best products. During my time as Head chef, I received only a few comments during the initial period. These comments good and bad helped to shape the menu creating a better experience for customers. While my main position was posted at Red Inn Heritage I also had to take responsibility for Red Inn Cabana, Red Inn Court and Red Inn 56. This included checking in and out of guests dealing with customer complaints, making sure all rooms are cleaned and that all guests have a great time while staying in penang. List of other responsibilities:- Creating occupancy reports every quarter.- Dealing with customer complaints - Making sure all staff are happy and well trained. - Find great activities for guests to see/do while staying in Penang.- Creating information sheets about locations of the most famous foods in Penang, including western style breakfasts for those who really couldn't eat noodles or rice for breakfast. - Dealing with all incoming bookings and their respective websites. updating daily occupancy calendar and special offers. - Helping guests plan their perfect stop, how ever long or short in Malaysia. Helping them to not make the mistakes you hear from so many guests (The horror stories I've heard are enough to make any traveler think twice) - Looking for new ways the company could increase revenue and improve on productivity.

In the kitchen I helped keep things tidy often helping out making burgers, prepping items ready for service. In the garage, I was in charge of setting up Brand new Harleys. This consisted of me removing all factory stickers setting up the controls/break levers. checking oil levels, tire pressure and brake fluids. Plugging the motorcycle into the DYNA running basic tests and giving the results to the head mechanic. While travelling I needed to make a small amount of income. To do this I would stand in city centres or around highly populated areas displaying a signboard informing people I was a traveller and that I can create and build simple custom built ponds. This was very simple and effective. All countries have home-depo stores, so finding the correct materials can be very easy. The difficult part is finding people to help. Designs ranged from simple circular ponds to ponds making their way around a garden with a crossway in between. The most taxing build was one where a customer wished to have the pond light up. Luckily they were an electrician themselves and for a discounted price we agreed it would be possible as long as he supplied some electrical training.

While traveling the Netherlands I secured myself a job on the local fish market. Duties included scaling, gutting, and cleaning a customer's fish. While working here one of the stall owners managed to help me secure odd shifts on small private fishing vessels fishing the north seas. Working in the market was great I learn a lot of new skills to help not only in the market but also to improve on my culinary skills. The only downside to working a fish market is the smell. For weeks even after I finished I smelt of fish. This seriously hindered my ability to hitchhike around Europe as the smell was unbearable. While I enjoyed working on fishing boats. I did find it hard working the long shifts with little sleep. It's jobs like the above where you realise how important it is to obtain good relations with other crew members to be completely honest when you can and can not do something and always be willing to learn. Squabbles with crew members is not advised in such small confined spaces where you are not the only one suffering with sleep deprivation.

I was hired as an extra helper during the holiday season to cover full timers taking anual leave. Duties were very simple, turn up to work for a briefing. Follow driver to location and walk along side the truck while collecting either recyclable materials or waste refuse. Deposit materials to waste site or to recycling centre.
