I held my staff to high expectations and encouraged learning opportunities as a group outside company organized events. I had also teamed up with local small businesses to host special nights where the companies would cater for free in order to have us promote their restaurants (this obviously took a lot of legwork but dramatically boosted sales)* Show less

Trainer / Finance agent
-
Jan 2007 - Dec 2009
• Trained more than 40 people to collect on delinquent accounts • Worked for many companies including big names such as BMW, GMAC, and Sprint • Organizing training material specific to the system of which company the class would be working for (each company used different programs and screen set ups, I had to be well versed and able to use all of them to full functionality) • Hand writing mock tests to give trainees to make sure they were on track throughout the 23 week training period (this was not mandatory but I wanted to ensure they took advantage or getting the most knowledge to help them be productive as possible) • Use MS Paint to make real time screen shots for trainees to practice on before giving them real calls with actual customers (again this was not mandatory but I wanted to ensure they would be able to handle customers before throwing them on an auto dialing system upsetting usually already irate customers) • While I trained I was responsible for consistently keeping some of the highest numbers in the building as well taking customer phone calls on my off time from training. • Successfully Skip trace customers that fell off grid • Reconcile customer accounts with payments or payment arrangements *While working with this company my classes that graduated training had some of the highest scores on the final test that the location had on file. My average drop out rate for my classes was extremely low compared to other trainers at only losing 2 or 3 due to poor attendance or inability to properly navigate system. I was one of the top collectors in the building all throughout my time whether I was training or not.* Show less
