  As the Director of the Estonia-Asia Trade Agency, I built up the biggest centre of competency for Asian markets in the Baltic region by bringing together world-class experts/consultants across the world. The centre started as a team of two, but expanded into a team of eleven people with unique competences on the Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Singaporean, South Korean and Southeast Asian markets. Through our work we supported 300+ companies yearly, provided 700+ consultancy services and organized tens of events and high-level business delegations to Asian markets meeting some of the world's biggest companies (Alibaba, Tencent, JD.com, Google, Rakuten, Marubeni, Mitsubishi and others). Our work had a strong impact on individual companies from different sectors (tech, F&B, FMCG, logistics, manufacturing etc), but contributed also to the total export growth towards Asian markets.

  As the Head of the Asia Information Centre and as the youngest manager in the organization I led the team based in Estonia working with Asian markets. My tasks included coordinating and developing our services, managing budgets, hiring new people as well as providing consultancy services to companies from different sectors, public institutions and the government. During my time at the Asia Information Centre, I transformed our service portfolio, led the organization of several high-level business delegations, advised prime ministers and presidents, organized trade missions and helped hundreds of companies to find partners in Asian markets and build their go-to-market plans.

  The Asia Update conference was launched in 2017 and took place for the first time in Estonia in May 2019. As the co-founder and leading organizer of the first conference, I managed to bring together 40+ world-class experts across the world (Europe, India, China, Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, Australia), utilize my contacts in the highest levels of ministries and large multinational companies and gather together 300+ high-level participants including CEOs, politicians, decision-makers, journalists and academics. The first conference was opened by the President of Estonia and participants and speakers evaluated the first conference with the highest satisfaction scores.
