  As an apprentice in Strategic Highways, I'm currently learning the Technician side of Civil Engineering on the M3 J2-4a Smart Motorway scheme. The work on this scheme for me has included producing AutoCAD drawings for all disciplines including Site Clearance, Road Restraint, Motorway Communications, Road Markings, Drainage, Road Signs and various others, as well as self-checking and revising existing drawings in addition to handling and modifying various drawing registers and spreadsheets. During my time on this scheme I have also amended Technical Notes under supervision and spent a period as a Technician on site. Show less
