  Dr. Chow is currently the Consultant and Chief of Service in the Prince of Wales Hospital, Hong Kong. Besides the expertise in general medicine, his main interest is nephrology, including kidney transplant and peritoneal dialysis. Dr. Chow has published more than 370 Indexed publications in peer review journals, over 100 of them being the first author, His h-index is 56. He is actively involved in student teaching, and works as a member in the Curriculum Design Committee at the Faculty of Medicine, Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has received the Teachers of the Years Award for three consecutive years, as well as the Education Award in 2016. He is the immediate past President of the Hong Kong Society of Transplantation, and currently serves as the Chairman of the Hong Kong Society of Nephrology. As a clinical leader during the recent pandemic, he has executed effective communication and crisis management within the public hospital to offer direction in operation and triggering isolation team, ramp up safety instruction, and provide coaching of doctors in handling Covid-19 and surveillance cases.
