Chi worked on exploratory research as an intern for Humankind Design, a Singaporean design company interested in building sustainability literacy. He was insightful about the trends in data science and visualisation, infographic communication of content I had initially written in essay form, and how these intersect with present discourses about sustainability in Singapore and the global job market. As a team, we concluded that some of our initial ideas about tracking and quantifying our content's online impact required much more interdisciplinary collaboration and capacity to bring to fruition. I learned much from Chi and his timeliness, synthesis, and enthusiasm, even during remote video calls from different time zones. I strongly recommend Chi to future employers interested in bringing in the latest perspectives on how data science can be used to understand environmental issues.
