During my time at Anthony Moreton Group as a full-time receptionist/ office administrator, I increased my experience in the customer service industry and gained a variety of new skills. My main duties included welcoming all clients, assisting in administrative duties for the office team, including filing documents, making copies and schedules, and answering and directing incoming calls to the appropriate personnel. Whilst ensuring the office ran smoothly, I assisted the accountant/office manager with inputting invoices using MYOB Account Right and completing month-end work papers in excel. I was also responsible for setting up and clearing the boardroom for meetings, ordering the required stationery, and replenishing the kitchen cupboards.

I started Baskin Robbins as a part time customer service employee and worked my way to assistant manager. During my time, I continued to improve my customer service and communication skills. Operating and handling transactions as well as maintaining store cleanliness was my day to day activities. As I further my position in the company , I was required to manage material inventory and order new materials when needed. I was promoted responsible for all cake orders, cake preparations and stocking the cake fridge as well as provide training to on boarding employees and allocate tasks to multiple staff.

My university degree required me to participate in a research project for a semester. The project I choose involved testing for diffusion of pluronic molecules through agarose hydrogel networks to ensure pluronic can be coated with peptide sequences and be used for future cell screening. I performed extensive experiments and research over the course of 3 months where I was required to document and present all findings and collaborate with others in a team-based environment. My university degree required me to participate in a research project for a semester.
