Kagiso has been my colleague for the past two years, Whilst Kagiso title is IT Business analyst. The title does not accurately describe his actual contribution to the IT Team and the company as a whole. He stayed on top of all the IT projects, production support and vendor management and coordinated not only the steps in the planning and implementation but was hands on in ensuring everything works as expected. Kagiso is an effective contributor to our departments success. As a Business Analyst and Scrum Master at Webtonic, my focus is cross-functionally spanned across three specific sections of the business: • Projects: I am responsible for the operations and delivery of a few major project clients, and I fulfil a dual role of a Business Analyst and Scrum Master whereby as a Business Analyst, elicit & analyse requirements into, themes, initiatives. Features/epics, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, test cases, roadmaps, sprints, releases, and retrospectives that deliver value and iterate. As a Scrum Master, I facilitate events between and manage stakeholder expectation to ensure that product-sprint goals are understood and met by the delivery team as well as removing blockers that may reduce the success of delivery through coaching, advising, and leading the delivery team. • Support: I am responsible for the day-to-day support of a few key clients and fulfil a dual role as Business Analyst and Support Analyst through the management of service Level Agreements, change requests, maintenance, task prioritization, resolution, product ownership and delivery. • Internal: I am responsible introducing and contributing on Agile, Scrum and Kanban ways of work as well as Business Analysis throughout the organisation through training and research.
