  development and maintenance of a field service management system, including many container-based services, two apps, a load of little tools that can plug into our system, a partridge and a pear tree.we use PHP, Docker, MySQL&TiDB, Linux, Cordova, and all the usual web technologies.after developing the system for the last ten years, my current roles are* managing a small team who develop and maintain what we've built* planning and implementing architecture changes to allow the system to smoothly scale* planning and implementation of novel technologies in our system I still get dirty. A lot of my day is spent elbows deep in PHP and JavaScript.

  dates approximate. I honestly don't remember or care.After working in Webworks for a number of years, I wanted to get out and try a few things on my own. I worked on a few projects for clients such as a family tree website and application, an asset-management app and website for a large wind-farm inspection team, and I also wrote two books in this time as well. "jQuery 1.3 with PHP" and "CRM Design using PHP and jQuery"I eventually got tired of trying to figure out how tax works so joined FieldMotion so they could do it for me and the local revenue would get off my back about it.
