As a post-secondary student with AHS, I had the opportunity to perform several unique roles within Provincial Staffing Services (PSS). I assisted in the PSS interview process for hiring new nurses, mental health therapists, Clerk IVs and Vs, client care assistants and other positions. In addition to being involved in the hiring and recruitment side of PSS, I also created new tools, documents and methods for management and organization for the Relief Team Program Managers - this helped to decrease errors and lead to a cohesive workflow amongst the team. Lastly, I helped to create a new emergency deployment prototype, to be used as a basis for developing a new emergency deployment system for AHS staff.
