Currently, my research activities in Plasma Physics concern three main areas. The first one is the design and development of modern plasma based technologies, mainly surface wave sustained atmospheric pressure discharges with technological and ecological applications. The second is the development of a wide range of sophisticated measurement systems to study the plasma including: optical and mass spectroscopy, TALIF and antenna diagnostics. Finally, the third one is the development of theoretical models. Show less

    • Postdoctoral Researcher
      • Jan 2003 - Dec 2005

Research and development of new technologies for ecological applications using large-scale planar and coaxial microwave plasma sources. Development of advanced plasma diagnostics, including: radiophysics and Langmuir probe diagnostics, absorption and emission spectroscopy and TALIF. Development of complex theoretical models.
