Bio
Prasad Padmanabhan, Ph.D
It is with great enthusiasm that I recommend Jytoi Prakash Rath: being a senior and mentoring him in Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India for close to one and half year, I have no reservation to state that Jyoti Prakash will definitely be an asset for any organization he works for. He is always eager to learn in depth details of subjects and has a good experience and training in both wet-lab and in silico lab techniques. Since Jyoti Prakash has an inherent interest towards teaching, his goal is to pursue an academic career and to transfer his practical knowledge in research/teaching. He is a team player as he is always keen to learn, understand and discuss various subjects with his team members. I wish him great success in his journey as a researcher/teacher in future.
KARTIKA PADHAN
To whomsoever it may concern. It is great pleasure recommending Jyotiprakash Rath whom I had the opportunity to interact on many occasions, both professionally and personally. We did Master’s degree from same department at Sambalpur University (1999-2000) and had regular contact plus scientific discussions during his time at Prof Rentala Madhubala’s laboratory of molecular parasitology at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi (2004-2005). Jyotiprakash has since been in constant touch updating about his career path and professional achievements. With a meritorious completion of the highly sought-after bioinformatics course offered by one of the premier institutes in India and upon conferred with NET certificate Jyotiprakash was well equipped for a career in teaching at university level- a profession very close to his nature and liking. Jyoti has been constantly progressing on biotech/ bioinformatics research alongside providing guidance to master’s level students in completion of their thesis work. He has found a niche for himself in the specific area of vaccine delivery through the use of his acquired expertise on vaccine biology as well as nanotechnology. Along this line, Jyotiprakash has been invited many times to present his seminal findings on scientific platforms across India, a process that has enabled him to collaborate with scientists from premier institutes and to exchange scientific ideas and resources. On a personal front, Jyotiprakash epitomises amicability, altruism and sincerity. He is well respected among his colleagues for his knowledge in the biology field and for his tremendous contribution to the student centric nature of the department at Chettinad Academy of Research & Education. It will be privilege to work with Jyotiprakash on a research topic as I consider him a great collaborator. I wish him all the very best in his future career path. best regards, Kartika Dr. Kartika Padhan, PhD Scientist [C], VRC, NIAID, NIH
