      • Nov 2018 - Mar 2020

The Find Cancer Early program for regional Western Australians was created by Cancer Council WA to improve cancer outcomes for regional Western Australians by increasing cancer symptom awareness and encouraging people to visit their doctor, clinic nurse or Aboriginal health worker earlier. I am privileged to contribute to Find Cancer Early program. • Carried out analysis of the strengths of websites similar to the Find Cancer Early and provide recommendations to enable effective and culturally appropriate communication of healthy lifestyle messages as well as of quarterly reporting systems to ensure accurate numerical details by collaborating with other team members. • Gather and collate three hours of video content to be shown in the waiting rooms of Aboriginal health services in regional WA by leveraging strong attention to detail. • Generated report to analyse various regional classification systems and inclusion media coverage areas to determine whether Peel, WA should be included in regionally-targeted health promotion campaigns. • Performed a range of mapping exercises to assess the coverage of newspapers across WA whilst identifying geographical gaps in the existing media plan of the program and literature review on Regional Sub-committee research. • Maintained and updated the media article content on the website by utilising WordPress to provide technical support to the project. • Undertook the Regional Cancer Inequity Snapshot by leveraging strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all outputs. • Participated in relevant meetings with the regional education coordinator of Cancer Council WA for contacts, recruit and financial reporting.
