Inclusively led and strategically managed a multi-disciplinary team with projects on gender equity, harm minimisation from alcohol and other drugs, mental health and social isolation. Using the VicHealth partnership tool and an integrated health promotion framework, initiated and nurtured strategic partnerships and achieved shared outcomes. Provided strong governance to operations through developing and embedding sustainable processes and evidence-informed practice. Developed robust evaluation for primary prevention projects on both process and impact for rigorous reporting and acquital. Introduced fee for service model to diversify audience and generate sustainable income. Demonstrated values based leadership by focusing on strengths to create a psychologically and culturally safe workplace through active listening and respectful conversations for my team to thrive in a post COVID19 workplace. IndianCare is an ethno-specific community organisation set up in 2013 to address welfare needs of Indian migrants in Victoria. In 2020, IndianCare's operations expanded to address welfare needs of migrants from South Asia - Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, Myanmar and, Bangladesh. www.indiancare.org.au #valuesbasedleadership #healthpromotion #communitydevelopment #communityengagement #systemsthinking #governance #primaryprevention #earlyintervention #stopitatthestart #changethestory
