  The NME holding consists of several different companies, all related to musical theater and entertainment. The NME foundation provides opportunities for children and young adults to become professional actors, singers and dancers. Starting at the age of 8 years old, our youngest talents follow their training each Saturday, which ends in them performing in a professional musical production. When growing up, they benefit from our special training program in the “NME Junior Academy”, which is the pre-training for our official mbo schools at the Dutch Academy of Performing Arts. Harlekijn – Talent Scouting & Theatrical Productions provides in theatrical productions, but takes it to the next level. Aside from producing high quality productions, Harlekijn also aims to provide young talents chances to perform on stage or behind the scenes in a professional environment, thereby realizing a practical way of learning what the theater is all about. NME events is the third company that belongs to the NME holding. Founded in 1997, it has ever since produced many great events for companies and individuals. Whether someone is in need for a vocalist during his wedding ceremony, or an international company wants to do something special for their business associates and relations, NME events is able to provide it. Every event is custom made and, given the relationship with the other companies from the NME holding, can be realized with guaranteed high quality.

  Inventive Creations is the result of my different kinds of expertise: it combines the ability to see the underlying structures in business processes and modeling skills for organizations and organizational units with creativity. By combining logic and creativity, it is possible to use scientific methods and methodologies in a way that is also usable for smaller and medium sized organizations. Jan Willem Hoekstra

  After having written several songs for a band I used to play in, the year 2000 marked the next step in my musical experience. It was then that I was given the opportunity to write my first musical production, Zigana de musical. Since then I was involved in many different musicals, like “Merlijn de musical”, "7 Tales the musical" and "Icarus de musical", based on the novel "Rebel met Vleugels" by Marcel Roijaards, and also worked as composer/arranger/pianist on the first CD of Louise Runtu: "Faith" and the first CD and several singles of the 3P's. This in turn has lead to other lovely productions, such as the celebration tour for Sesamestreet in the Netherlands, on the occasion of their 40th anniversary here, called "Bonte Avond in Sesamstraat" and the upcoming musical about the treasures and history of Deventer which is exclusively written for Deventer Jeugd Musical with script and lyrics by Jan Terlouw. As a composer for business events I have written music for many different purposes, such as the special theme song for the anniversary of the "Raad van de Rechtspraak" and the hymne for the national celebration of the 200-year anniversary of the Dutch Constitution, which was performed by more than 150 artists on March 29th of 2014 in the "Atrium" in The Hague during the "Grondwetfestival". Other examples are the themesong for the opening ceremony of the "Nieuwe Haagse Passage" in september 2014, the theme song Flowering The World Together, that was first performed during the staff party of FloraHolland, which musically illustrates the strategic mission and vision of FloraHolland for 2020 and the hymne for Euhofa. As a piano player my work varies from small live gigs with great vocalists for receptions and jazz festivals to playing in bands and orchestras during large events and theatre shows. In fact it doesn't really matter how big the show is; it's all about the passion of making and sharing music with and for everyone.

  At TroBit I was responsible for modeling and designing all new applications, including the UitvaartSuite, which has become a bestseller program in the funeral branch. The development was actually also my graduation project at the TU Delft, in which I proved how DEMO (Design & Engineering Methodology for Organizations) could be combined with UML (Unified Modeling Language) to provide in fast and adequate software development, resulting in a design for a software suite that covered the entire range of business processes of our clients.
