      • Working within a team to respond to a brief given to us by BMAG to address the lack of representation of minoritsed groups in the art and heritage sector. • Developing the tours of the Soho House, requiring us to use creative thinking in making the museum space more inclusive of people of colour and to launch an opening event for the newly developed space. • Leading team meetings and assigning tasks to other curators, allowing me to build on existing leadership skills. • Budgeting and keeping a track of the project’s financial output using Microsoft Excel. This also meant overlooking an efficient use of spending as we were provided with a fixed budget. • Community outreach and research, therefore coordinating community meetings and building bonds to ensure their interests were being met. • Communicating between volunteer curators and the BMAG staff to ensure the brief was being met every step of the way. • Maintaining curator wellbeing, ensuring the team was never too overwhelmed and keeping up a team morale- even if this meant taking on extra tasks. • Utilising effective time management an organisational skills by meeting strict deadlines and making sure team members were meeting theirs. • Commissioning artists, writing up projects briefs and contracts. This also meant meeting with artists and participants to discuss our project visions, requiring effective communication, as well as maintaining relationships and contact. • Coordinating meetings, arranging meetings based on team schedules, created meeting plans and was also involved in minute taking.
