As Director of Marketing, I oversaw growth, brand, and product marketing strategy for YogaWorks' digital subscription platform, YogaWorks At Home; its brick and mortar flagship studio in Santa Monica, CA; and its teacher training business. I was responsible for developing and leading strategic initiatives for digital marketing (owned, earned, and paid media) to drive brand engagement, optimize product performance, generate leads and conversions within targeted budgets and key performance indicators. I led an international team of social media, email, and content creation managers and strategists and managed performance marketing, affiliate, and referral agencies. I held frequent company-wide open house forums to create a space for non-leadership staff to share ideas and build a community around furthering YogaWorks' mission. During my time at YogaWorks, I have also scoped, lead, and executed two enterprise-level CRM integrations that best met the business needs of YogaWorks at each point in time.I was key in helping to transition YogaWorks from brick and mortar-based operations with, at its height, 66 studios in 8 markets to a digital-first business shaped by a post-pandemic world. During this transition period, I stood up channels for and conducted market research to help shape what would become YogaWorks At Home and assisted in directing the overall branding of the final product—all while still driving our owned media channels exceeding internal benchmarks. To date, YogaWorks At Home has broadcasted over 20,000 live classes online with a total attendance of over 600,000, complemented by over 1300 on-demand videos with more than 150,000 total views. • Jun 2020 - Aug 2022

As chair of the YogaWorks Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council, I strategized initiatives that help shape the culture of YogaWorks into one where every individual is seen, heard, and valued. To date, the Council has: introduced regular open forums for all members of the BIPOC and POC communities of employees at YogaWorks can gather to build community and safely share their experiences; through partnerships, developed and executed a framework for YogaWorks to offer over 100 full scholarships to its 200-Hour Teacher Training for Black and Ethnic Minority People facing economic hardship; launched YogaWorks' first civic impact initiative, Impact Sunday's, which raised over $15k for 13 organizations ranging from local food banks to organizations supporting and preserving Indigenous Americans cultures and rights; and launched a social media voting campaign to encourage our community to participate in the 2020 general election process from voting to working at the polls while making Election Day a paid holiday for staff. As Art Director, I developed and implemented brand strategy, including a brand book and style guide for, at the time, the largest independent yoga studio in the mid-Atlantic. I also managed the UX + UI design and development teams for Charm City Yoga’s updated website while developing a commiserate content strategy for social media content strategy. I created an enterprise-level email marketing strategy that helped grow database size and membership retention: two key metrics identified within the top reasons for the studio's acquisition.
