I reported directly to Justine during my time as a technical recruiter at Women Impact Tech. I had transferred over to the recruiting team after about two years with the company. I am so glad I did, because Justine became one of my favorite people I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. From the moment I told her I was taking the role, she was extremely encouraging and genuinely excited for me. I always felt supported through any questions or challenges I had. She made it a point to express how much she believed in me and with her guidance, I was able to pick up on the training rather quickly. Justine always trusted her team to do excellent work and she never micro-managed; this in turn created a healthy and successful team. Under Justine’s leadership I was consistently hitting and surpassing my goals. She was great at giving reminders to pat myself on the back, and her words and feedback gave me a lot of confidence in my abilities. Justine handled challenges with grace and with an opportunity mindset. I was constantly impressed with her ability to adapt. She genuinely cares for her team's well being and made it known she was there for us. Her attitude and ability to create a safe space was a breath of fresh air and something I deeply admire. Justine embodies what it means to be a strong leader and I am so thankful I had the opportunity to work alongside her.

I had the pleasure of being Justine’s manager, mentor and colleague at Signature Consultants and Women Impact Tech. I've worked closely with her over the course of four years, sharing the same open office space the majority of the time. Justine showed excellent communication skills and consistently exceeded company quotas. On a personal level, she's charismatic and well-spoken, both qualities that have served her well. I started out as Justine’s mentor when she first started at Signature Consultants in 2018. Justine was not only the most coachable employee I had mentored, but she came in with a strong work ethic which allowed her to find success in an unpredictable business almost immediately. In this position, I observed her daily creating relationships with candidates and later on with clients as well. Not only did she provide stellar service to candidates but she had such a strong grasp on technology, our clients companies and their needs that she began successfully placing candidates immediately. At WIT, Justine reported to me along with a team of four other recruiters. Justine was only of the first four recruiters brought on for this department which put her in a unique position. She instantly proved that she was able to exceed metrics as she became one of the highest producing recruiters on the team. This environment also provided the opportunity to expand talents outside of recruiting, which she took initiative to contribute while still maintaining incredible contribution to the recruiting team. During this time she took on the responsibility of social media and marketing for Women Impact Tech. Justine showed her ability to juggle many responsibilities by staying organized and maintaining impeccable time management. This position required someone who was adaptable and able to handle any task that arose quickly, which was one of Justine’s strongest attributes to the team. When I moved on from my position at Women Impact Tech, I was heavily involved in the selection of the team member who would be stepping into my role as Recruiting Manager, in which I not only recommended but strongly encouraged Justine. Her intelligence, leadership, knowledge of the business and success in every position she had been in was more than enough to support my decision. As she has continued to move up at Women Impact Tech, I am certain she has only built on those skills. Justine is a creative, detail-oriented, and dependable employee with a passion for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. She's great at working independently and can produce high-level work with little supervision. I have no doubt that she will make an excellent addition to any team.
