  I have successfully had my write ups of my deployment/travel/expedition experiences published in numerous adventure/travel magazines such as Avaunt, Red Bull and the adventure travel magazine. I also sensitively write about my humanitarian deployments to highlight the plight of those suffering, the challenges of being a humanitarian in an attempt to encourage understanding. In my writing I also like to champion volunteers, artists and inspirational people and maintain a blog about my endeavours.

  Planned and emergency humanitarian response deployments to Louisiana after flooding in the summer of 2016, Haiti after Hurricane Matthew in autumn 2016, Medical centres at Syrian refugee camps in Greece and the Kiryandongo refugee settlement for South Sudanese nationals in Northern Uganda summer 2017. Duties include preparing teams to go out into the field, team leadership in the field, photographer, press officer, physiotherapist and first aider to communities and the team, logistics, community liaison, building shelters, muck outs, building and road way clearance.

  I research, plan and lead my own expeditions, mostly, but not exclusively, in the Arctic. This entails seeking sponsorship, planning, sourcing appropriate kit, training and marketing my trips to enable me to complete multi week skiing/kayaking/hiking/cycling expeditions camping in some of the harshest and remote places on earth. The themes of my expeditions revolving around retracing historic routes and highlighting conservation issues. I have frequently been named as one of the top 10 contemporary female adventures.
