      This internship taught me all the in's and out's of the vertical construction industry. While employed, I worked on site and in the office, getting a mix of estimating, bidding, and onsite coordination with subcontractors. It gave me a good mix of crunching numbers and later seeing them come to life in the field. On any given day I could be in my office writing a proposal and calculating concrete yardage, or I could be in the on the jobsite meeting with subcontractors, carrying out deliveries, and taking slab pour dimensions. I have lots to take away from this experience that will help me in advance into my career, and I am excited for the next chapter! Show less
