      Lead Designer, General Motors, Warren, USA 2006 - 2009 Lead the exterior design of key GM passenger car production programs; 2013 Chevrolet Malibu2010 Buick LaCrosse 2008 Buick Invicta Showcar. Lead Designer, precursor to the Buick LaCrosse. Unveiled at the 2008 Beijing Motor-show in China, the Buick Invicta showcased GM’s LWB Epsilon architecture. During my assignment at the General Motors Technical Center, I was recognised as a Global Exterior Lighting Subject Matter Expert (SME). Working closely with GM Engineering I developed systems and guidelines to streamline the Lighting Design process. These guidelines allowed for GM to leverage suppliers to both reduce cost and improve timing. It also fostered a culture of change within the organisation to deliver better lamps via improved communication between the Studio, Engineering and suppliers. Show less

      Lead Designer, PATAC, Shanghai, China 2005 - 2006 Sent to the Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC) Shanghai, China to mentor and lead the exterior of the GMX353 Buick LaCrosse Exterior. This was a first for GM where a USA production program was jointly designed in China and the USA. I was responsible for the development of Exterior themes from the initial concept sketches to a full size clay proposal. This theme was successful and eventually merged with the North American theme which I further developed whilst on my International Assignment in Warren, Michigan, USA. Senior Designer, General Motors Holden, Australia 2001 - 2005 Supercar Race-car Livery Design. To improve speed and quality, I initiated a 3D texture mapping process in Alias AutoStudio for developing livery designs for the major Holden teams including: 2004/5 Holden Racing Team 2004 K-mart V8 Supercar 2004 Tasman Motorsport V8 Supercar 2005 HSV Dealer Team Buick (Shanghai, China round) 2005 Supercheap Supercar 2005 Garry Rogers Motorsport Valvoline V8 Supercar 2002 - 2004 Holden VE Commodore Exterior Lighting Focused on the exterior lighting systems on the entire Holden Commodore range. Developed good working relationships with Holden Engineering, SL Korea and Hella. These experiences help to develop my technical understanding of exterior lighting and body integration. 2002 - 2004 Lead Designer WM Statesman Caprice Exterior My Exterior theme for the WM Statesman/Caprice was selected for production. I executed the exterior including all exterior lighting, including Bi-Xenon headlamps which incorporated an integrated wash system; a first for GM Holden. These lamps also utilised two shot washer doors to improve appearance and quality as well as reduce cost.Designer, General Motors Holden, Australia 1999 - 2001 Highlights Include: 1999- 2001 V2 Monaro and VY Commodore Supported both these programs by designing all exterior lighting systems.
