  As a project engineer at PR construction it is my responsibility to work with the project managers, superintendents and sub-contractors during the commercial construction process by planning, organizing and controlling all elements of the project. A few of our clients include Starbucks, California Pizza Kitchen & 7-Eleven. Pre-Construction - Organize and set up all job documentation and logs. Including; Change order logs, submittal logs & RFI logs. Set up buyout logs and assist PM’s with qualifying scope, contacting sub-contractors and writing sub-contracts. I also set up all documentation needed for our superintendents to have success while on the job site. I review the plans and make sure all procurement items are accounted for and will be received on time. Construction – Track all logs and keep them up-to-date. I am in constant communication with our customers and sub-contractors in order to effectively send and track the status of change orders, RFI's and submittals. Closeout – After the job I collect all documentation from the PM and Superintendent. I organize it and review it, to make sure the customer receives all required information and documents to complete the closeout process. Show less
