As the operations manager I am over the day to day operations of the integrity group. I manage a very complex schedule that has anywhere from 40 to 60 field technicians at any time, also oversee all project managers projects and ensure they are running smoothly and will be completed on time and within budget. I’m constantly bidding on new work and assisting clients plan their upcoming projects, whether that be ILI Tool Tracking, AGM Survey, Monument Survey, or Dig Staking. Every week I manage, review, and approve all field crew and office personnel timesheets. I also keep in close contact with our compliance group in making sure my crews OQ’s and Drug Tests are always current and ready for the next project. When I’m not overseeing projects, I attend various trade shows and help promote the company and my department. Keeping a strong relationship with my clients is very important to me, I make a point to visit them regularly whether it’s taking them lunch or just making a stop by their office to say hello.

Follow Company Procedures to maintain an efficient work environment and client satisfaction. Work closely with client project managers and coordinators to assure the project I am running is completed on time and within budget. After gathering all data and information from the client I put together a project plan that gives the field crews a day by day schedule, what to do first, who to call, and when the job is supposed to be completed. When the project plan is complete I schedule a conference call with my team to go over specific details or answer any questions or concerns they may have. On any week I manage 45 to 60 field technicians with 10 to 20 projects nationwide. I am responsible for hiring my own crew members, therefore I am always looking for new talent as well as helping my guys be successful in what they do.

As the equipment manager I would work closely with account managers, project managers, and field personnel to ensure all equipment and supplies are on site in a timely manner. In addition to just sending equipment I also assist the clients and field personnel decide on what type of equipment will be sufficient for their upcoming projects. Responsible for equipment in and out of the office while maintaining calibration certifications for various equipment, also deal directly with the inspectors to ensure they have everything they need before starting their assignment. Responsible for ensuring accurate billing of all equipment and supplies to clients. Also, upon clients request I facilitate onsite equipment training utilizing my multiple equipment certifications. I maintain quality relationships with vendors that I purchase equipment and supplies from while keeping my eyes open to new opportunities for better rates and services that would best serve the company’s interest. Furthermore, I consistently promote utilization and sale of equipment from our company to clients.

Traveled all over the United States on various pipeline integrity projects. Accurately located and staked anomaly excavations using ILI dig sheets and alignment sheets. Tracked ILI tools using various equipment like receivers, geophones, and transmitters. After every project I would communicate closely with Project Managers, Inspectors and field hands in acquiring all data from the project I worked on. Look over all paperwork and fix what needs corrected to prepare all documents into a ready for audit job book.
