Bio
Tom Cooper
Justin was one of, if not the best, school leader I have encountered over 14 years of private Christian school education. My son was in Middle School at Second Baptist while Justin was the Head of the Middle School. He cared about every student, not only in academic performance, but also in character development, and a desire for each to become a follower of Jesus Christ! He always made time to meet with students and/or parents when the need arose. He was a huge help to my family during a difficult period.

Justin and I have worked together as new Heads of Middle School in our respective institutions for the past three years. In that time, we have shared strategies, concerns, and solutions for middle school learning as we build our divisions. I am honored to also call him a friend. He is a researched, continuous learner with a respected passion for educating today's youth. He is a school leader dedicated to his craft and eager to pursue new avenues to improve his institution. Justin has a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Harkness teaching and has built a division with this expertise. He is also digitally literate and welcomes the opportunity to include 21st century tools into the classroom when appropriate. He is a school leader for today's educator, and represents the very best in leadership.
