  Organized an excursion tour to Scandinavia for students of Chemical Engineering at the Technical University in Delft, The Netherlands. The trip went through Scandinavia from Copenhagen to Lund, Gothenburg, Oslo and finally Trondheim. Visits were arranged at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Novozymes, Alfa Laval, the closed nuclear powerplant Barsebäck Kraft, Yara, Dynea, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and Equinor. Funding was accomplished thanks to case studies at SITech, Veco Precision and ESD-SIC, funds from Hoogewerff, Solvay and TU Delft and by sponsorship of TU Delft Process Technology Institute and Zeeland Refinery.   Traveled to the East Coast of the USA and Canada where I got the opportunity to engage with foreign chemical companies and universities. The Foreign Excursion Tour is offered to students of Chemical Engineering at the Technical University in Delft, The Netherlands. During the study trip, you come into contact with foreign (chemical) companies and universities and get an insight of their activities.I gained the opportunity to work on a case study for Cabot Corporation Rotterdam about CO2 capturing technologies which was very interesting and subsequently funded the study trip partially.The study trip itself went to North-America. We traveled from Boston to New York, Washington, Toronto, Montreal and Quebec. Visits were arranged at Shell Techworks, DSM Coating Resins, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, LyondellBasell - Equistar Chemicals Newark, BASF Canada, McGill University, HydroQuebec, Cascades Engineering.
