  UPI ( Weld Shop Foreman) Check other welders parts, answer questions about blue prints, train new welders, make fixtures to make a production run more efficient, as well as doing first off's of every new part that comes through the department. I work closely with our CWI/Supervisor learning as much as possible about quoting jobs, making weld procedures, and using epicore to track production times and rates. I also weld/Fit up and weld customer weldments to blueprint specifications using TIG and MIG. Types of metal include armor steel, mild steel, and aluminum. MIG welding using .035 hardwire, .045 stainless wire, and 5356/4043 aluminum wire. TIG welding done solely by me in the shop on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum with filler rods specified by the customer. Also worked after hours/weekends in the CNC shop, assembly, and lazer department to help with work load as needed. Show less
