Bio
Justin McCarty is a leader who can bring great value to an organization. I made Justin’s acquaintance in July 2017 when he came to Gateway Church as our North Campus Pastor. Justin immediately made an impact in our community of commissioned leaders. This group of volunteers assists the staff with serving church members in many capacities. Justin not only took charge of this group of volunteers, but also stepped into a much-needed leadership role of staff leadership. Justin brought calm and clarity to a group of people who responded well to his lead. I personally learned a great deal listening to Justin as he trained leaders and pastored church members. I gained a unique respect for Justin by watching him interact with staff members, volunteers behind the scenes, and church members. I watched him engage with people, stepping into their space to make them feel comfortable and welcome. I watched him guide and direct staff and volunteers with integrity and compassion. I know Justin cares for people and seeks the best for them, striving to help each person find their role and grow as individual contributors. I give Justin high praise and I would recommend him as a leader and high-level contributor to any organization. With a leader of his caliber at the helm, an organization can truly go from good to great. Keith Harris, Volunteer and Commissioned Leader at Gateway Church, Austin, TX
Justin is a phenomenal leader, team builder, passionate speaker, and a highly skilled project manager. Justin's key component that sets him apart is his ability to authentically care about the people he works for, with and alongside. That is what fuels his passionate ability to see a task and complete it with speed and precision. His ability to deliver a talk that is not only engaging, but it is also informative and always leaves you with a new perspective on the subject he spoke about. Justin works tirelessly to build the teams he leads and supports the team leaders of the teams he is a part of. His ability to envision and encourage people to work together in harmony and efficiency is extraordinary. Having Justin on as part of a project, leader of a campaign or long-term part of the team is a huge win for any organization. I say this not only from my own perspective of his influence on my life, but I also say this as a first-hand witness of Justin doing the same for many others.
