  Systra is a leading rail and transit design/consulting firm in the tri-state area. At Systra, I worked with project managers and other electrical engineers to design electrical plans, package submittals and proposals for clients, manage projects in the field and perform research on potential markets. Projects: 1. CTA RPM Design Build – Task 1 – Work Performed on TP Reviews - Revised the grounding design for this project. 2. MTA New York City Transit (NYCT) - Signal System Modernization Culver Line CBTC System Overlay Contract S-47009 - Participated in correspondence meetings, performed cost estimates and updated the safety/onboarding plan for the site. 3. Beach 105th Street Interlocking Signal and Communication Design - Extracted and included important specifications/plans and revised the cost estimate for the proposal. Packaged the proposal together with a letter for submittal to the client. 4. LIRR Richmond Hill Traction Power Substation Grounding Plan - Created the AutoCAD drawings for the substation ground grid while altering the design to meet specifications. Prepared the drawings with a transmittal letter for submittal to the client. 5. AMTRAK New Orleans Pollution Control Building Generator Design - Sketched a sectional view of the Generator, ATS and Circuit Breaker Panel layout. Annotated the AutoCAD drawings for revision. 6. Metro North PTC Radio Case Field Inspection - Observed and gained knowledge of the testing and maintenance of radio frequency equipment on the job site.

  The Okonite Company is one of the original manufacturers of electric wire and cable in the country. At the Ramsey Headquarters, I was tasked with performing necessary calculations and specifications for various customer applications. I also designed a web-based application that performs DC resistance calculations. At the Paterson location, I tested various cables under different voltage and environmental conditions. I also participated in the development and filming of two cable end preparation videos and edited the project for publication to the company website
