Design and implement of a new data platform using Java (Spring, Camel) and AWS (S3, EC2, Redshift, EMR Spark, RDS) that maintains a production data warehouse and data lake with hourly updates. The legacy implementation was no longer able to keep up with the rate of ingestion and needed to be redesigned. As we built up a new team, we took it upon ourselves to evangelize a culture of testing code and continuous integration/deployment throughout the company.
