Jim Green
Justin was a highly valued member of our development team as a UI artist and QA lead at Turbo Studios. Despite his limited prior experience Justin was able to learn the ins and outs of QA quickly as an intern, and when the need arose for someone to organize our other testers and interns Justin was able to step up to the plate admirably. Beyond testing, Justin was able to leverage his graphic design skills to contribute as a UI artist, working with our design team to create UI and graphic assets in a pinch. What I most valued about Justin's contributions to our team was his reliability and dedication to the team and our project. He could always be counted on to stay late to make a build if needed, or precisely test a specific component of a feature or mechanic and give us accurate results even in high pressure environments where a fix was needed urgently. Justin also demonstrated his passion and commitment to making the project a success by playing our title on his own time (almost certainly the most of anyone in the studio) and providing insightful feedback to the design and production teams. His perspectives on his user experience and impressions of the gameplay mechanics and balance led to discussions and iteration that proved invaluable to improving and iterating on the game. As such, I'd love to have an opportunity to work with Justin again.

Justin was a hardworking, competent, trustworthy and clever QA Lead at TURBO while working on our product, Super Senso. Even if a new build was needed to be tested on a weekend, Justin could always be counted on to be there to get the job done on a moment's notice and done cheerfully. Justin was also an effective player with helpful, instructive insight into how to improve the game over the course of its development beyond simply verifying whether a build was technically solid or not. Justin, above everyone on the team, was the one who figured out cool game strategies (and regularly kicked my butt!) as well as pointed out ways of improving deficient mechanics that weren't living up to expectations as originally designed and implemented. I heartily and enthusiastically recommend Justin and know he will be a great addition to any team.
