      Quality Management • Quality Assurance o Write procedures, work instructions, and forms o Prepared a QMS to pass stage one and two audits that lead to an ANAB Accredited Certificate o Implemented and executed an easily manageable gage storage built with 5S methodology in mind o Organized, added missing documents and maintain calibration files o Outsource calibration o Keep track of all calipers, hardness testing equipment, OD and PD mic’s o Purchase equipment as needed and maintain monthly budget o Execute and perpetuate the tracking of a new NCR system  NCR’s were only used for product upon joining the team  There were four NCRs a month, at that time, which were all from the receiving department  After creating a new NCR system, there are now eight to ten NCR’s a month that are received from all departments o Identify and communicate Key Performance Indicators to Upper Management that are critical to the QMS, business, and industry o Review specialty orders to verify our ability to meet all specifications which includes:  Verifying we have or can get the correct size gages  Ensure ability to complete inspection points  Check that we have machine ability to complete the order  Corroborate our ability to carry out any other customer requests  Decipher any specifications the sales department needs clarification on o Consult with Upper Management on proper implementation of all ISO elements o Help drive quality to 9001:2015 • Quality Control o Help inspect parts that were questionable to inspectors  Disposition if the part is scrap, taken as is, or taken with deviation o Train Inspectors  Create inspection check points and forms that are easily understandable for inspectors and customers o Keep a team of three inspectors busy with work at all times o Keep track of inspectors scheduled work hours o Ensure timely receiving, in process, final and shipping inspections Show less
