CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: • Pipeline: Project pipeline engineer for multiple cross-country crude oil and NGL pipelines under DOT 195 with overall pipeline design, routing, valve sites and booster pump stations. • Facilities: Project engineer for multiple crude oil and NGL terminals and gathering systems (“midstream” scope), designed to or compliant with DOT 195 regulations. • Storage Tanks: Project tank engineer for multiple API 650 crude oil and firewater storage tanks. • Geohazards & Anomaly Dig Repairs: Seconded project coordinator for large geohazard & anomaly dig repair program addressing sites requiring temporary mitigation via strain gauges, drainage, seepage, strain relief, pipe cut-out and/or slope stabilization spanning multiple transmission pipelines. ENGINEERING DUTIES: • Daily reference of DOT 49 CFR 192 and 195, API 650 and 653, ASME B31.4 and B31.8, and other relevant midstream industry standards. • Coordinate and direct designers in the creation and review of drawings, P&ID's and PFD's. • Develop, prepare and review material, equipment, procedural and construction specifications and data sheets. • Perform sizing and design calculations. • General QA / QC to ensure design meets project specifications and requirements. COORDINATION / MANAGEMENT DUTIES: • Interface with project managers, engineers, designers, clients, vendors, legal, ROW, environmental, operations, construction and other associated stakeholders in the project and program. • Coordinate with other disciplines and general QA / QC to ensure project requirements are met or exceeded including initiating meetings, providing reports, tracking, status updates, etc. • Assist and coordinate procurement and contract activities including requesting vendor / contractor quotes, reviewing associated vendor / contractor documents and expediting.
