  While working, for the Berkshire County Sheriff's Department I was selected as a member of the Correctional Emergency Response Team in 2007. I was then selected, for the Sheriff's Honor Guard in 2008. Between 2008-2011 I attended as well as completed Active Shooter Instructor Course, Officer Down Rescue Instructor Course, and Quick Clot Instructor Course, through STS consulting and Tactical EMS(http://www.tactical-ems.com/about.asp). I completed tactical carbine and pistol training with Frank Proctor (http://www.wayofthegun.us/). I attended, and graduated the Tactical Response Team academy in 2011 with the Franklin County Sheriff's Department. I was then selected, and began instructing the Sheriff's Department's tactical team. In 2012 attended, graduated, and was certified as a level 1 Defensive Tactics, O.C., and Baton Instructor through the Massachusetts Sheriff's Association(http://www.mass.gov/msa/), and Monadnock (http://www.safariland.com/training/). From this point until present I have specialized in instructing specialized tactics, use of force, and munitions deployment to the department's academies, staff, and tactical team. I also remain as Tactical Team leader on my shift, and operate under that role on a daily basis in any emergent situations that may arise. Show less
