I performed an independent study of a local segregated cemetery known as Locust Hill, which had lost its history through time. In order to uncover the past of this site I researched death records and newspaper articles in the time frame in which the graveyard functioned, finding the names and histories of over 250 individuals buried at the site in an attempt to gain momentum in the renovation of the sight through community involvement.
