Developing, updating and calibrating groundwater flow models. ADWR makes and releases MODFLOW models. Calibration, sensitivity analysis and uncertainty are completed using PEST. I use Python for automation. I like making animations and encourage the use of 3D viewing applications. Developing, updating and calibrating groundwater flow models. I work on groundwater flow models (mostly using MODFLOW) most of the time. At times I work on contaminant transport modeling and geochemical characterization. My background (M.S. work) pertains to TCE monitoring and bioremediation. Programming and iterative analyses (including calibration using PEST) have become more and more important to the way I model as I continue to learn more from my expert colleagues.
