Test Director for Hydrothermal Liquefaction Served as one of the original Test Directors for the pilot-scale HTL system at PNNL for which I contributed to the design, factory acceptance testing, and commissioning. The system represents a unique capability in the DOE system and internationally.Hydrothermal Liquefaction Process DevelopmentPlayed an essential role in the development of HTL technology for biomass and wet wastes and was a key PNNL point of contact for HTL. I am active in international collaborations and business development. Show less

    • Radiochemical Process Engineer
      • Jun 2007 - May 2013

Designed and performed bench and pilot scale engineering tests in support of the Waste Treatment and Isolation Plant (WTP). I became the lead for bench-scale, non-radiological crossflow ultrafiltration of nuclear waste simulants and excelled at working with technicians, crafts, line management, cognizant space managers, and facility management to maintain and enhance the test system. I also served as a lead scientist for K Basin settling studies and managed the effort from developing test instructions to the completion of the final report. All WTP and K Basin data analysis and reporting was performed under strict NQA-1 requirements. Show less
