Justin Haskins is the Editorial Director and a Research Fellow at The Heartland Institute, as well as the director of the organization's Socialism Research Center. As Editorial Director, Haskins is responsible for managing Heartland's editorial staff and ensuring Heartland’s op-eds and serial publications are ready for publication. He also helps to lead Heartland's research efforts, working with Heartland's policy experts to produce books, policy studies, and other publications.Additionally, Haskins is a widely published author and influential commentator. Haskins has appeared more than 200 times on radio and television, including numerous appearances on the "Glenn Beck Program," "Tucker Carlson Tonight," and "Fox&Friends," among other shows.Haskins is author or co-author of two Heartland Policy Briefs, both of which received significant media attention: "Estimating the Income Tax Hikes Required to Pay for Bernie Sanders' Medicare-for-All Plan" (2019) and "Debunking the Scandinavian Socialism Myth: An Evaluation of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden" (2019).Haskins has also co-authored several national surveys conducted by Rasmussen Reports, one of America's leading pollsters.

As executive editor, Haskins was responsible for managing editorial work for numerous Heartland publications, including Budget & Tax News, Environment & Climate News, School Reform News, op-eds, policy papers, books, and Research & Commentaries.Haskins also wrote hundreds of opinion articles for leading media outlets and served as the editor of Heartland's Consumer Power Report. In late 2018, Haskins launched Heartland's Stopping Socialism Project, which included the creation of StoppingSocialism.com, a website dedicated entirely to fighting back against the rise of socialism in America.For his work as Heartland's executive editor, Haskins was named by Newsmax as one of the "Top 30 Republicans Under 30," and by Red Alert Politics (now part of the Washington Examiner) as one of the "Top 30 Conservatives Under 30." Haskins was also inducted into the Philadelphia Society and appeared as a guest on numerous radio and television shows, including "Tucker Carlson Tonight" and "Fox&Friends."
