As a Data Engineer, I designed, developed, and supported the analytics infrastructure of Open Universities Australia. Using Python, SQL, Informatica, and AWS services such as S3, Glue, and Appflow, I ingested data and built data models for student engagement, enrolment, and clickstream events in our Redshift datalake. I also developed dashboards for business teams to keep track of metrics and goals. Additionally, I have applied data science skills in feature engineering for predicting student re-enrolment, as well as using NLP models to classify keywords that students searched for on our website. As a Data/Software Engineer at GenV, I was mainly responsible for managing GenV's Research data capture platform using REDCap. I designed 15+ REDCap data collection forms, and developed 15+ software modules in PHP, Javascript, SQL, and Python. I also developed complex data integrations between Salesforce, OpenSpecimen, and REDCap using Mulesoft and REDCap modules, and set up OpenSpecimen environments in Linux OS. In addition, I trained and supported 50+ GenV users on how to use the REDCap system. Right now the system and modules that I built are supporting GenV users and research operations in 55+ hospitals.
