Communications Systems Training Manager

Sep 2020 - Present
I provide soldiers undergoing Initial trade training or professional career training with the key to unlocking their potential by delivering first class, innovative, trainee centred learning opportunities. Driving blended learning through the use of innovative technologies and approaches, I’ve helped facilitate an organisational change to training. Implementing engaging training material through online moodle based systems, redesigning course content and approaches, and delivering engaging trainee focused content has meant I’ve delivered first class training across the Army to more than 1000+ individuals. I’ve designed and managed the creation of innovative training emulations, the implementation of RPAS systems into field training scenarios and designed courses to meet the needs of the wider field Army. Inspired by peoples potential, I’ve helped to embed a culture of continuous improvement through coaching & mentoring, self reflection and positivity. I’ve deployed overseas, as the UK Armed forces Lead, on a Multinational Interoperability Exercise as an ACES & CPA communications network manager for SINGARS / HF radio systems, directly contributing to UK Defence Policy and procurement strategies. Passionate, meticulous and incredibly driven, I work with training deliverers at every level to ensure that our people and organisation continues to deliver world class training. When I’m not dedicating myself to the professional training environment I may be found coaching, or even sometimes playing, The Royal Artillery Rugby League Team or Delivering Road Safety briefs surrounding the dangers of driving whilst using mobile devices.
