As the President, I oversee our leadership team to ensure each division of our company is operating efficiently and effectively, allowing us to provide a unique, high-quality experience to each patient. Through partnering with each leader, I establish a culture where qualified individuals want to come together, work hard, and have fun doing it, ultimately providing a life-changing experience for anyone who comes in the door. Understanding that the more opportunities we provide, the more impact we can be a part of, I readily look to create and maintain relationships with referral sources. By collaborating with Physicians, Physician Assistants, Physical Therapists, and other medical professionals, D&J Medical can expand its reach to improve the quality of life for many. D&J Medical has provided patients with custom orthotics and bracing, upper and lower extremity prosthetic limbs, burn garments, lymphedema, compression products, and services since 2001. We combine state-of-the-art technology with our expertise in the human body and physiology, pathophysiology, biomechanics, and applied science to support our patients in achieving the highest possible quality of life. D&J Medical accepts nearly all Maryland insurance providers, along with many national companies. As President of MDOP, I look to create a cohesive culture where patients can seamlessly work with us for all of their orthotic, prosthetic, and compression needs. Through overseeing leadership, managing and reviewing financial statements, and maintaining relationships with referral sources, I ensure our company is on track to meet our business plan and is equipped to provide the best possible services to our patients. Maryland Orthotics & Prosthetics (MDOP) has restored the lives of thousands since its founding in 1981. We are an independent, full-service patient care facility and fabricator of custom-designed and custom-fit Prosthetic and Orthotic devices. Passionately concerned with exceeding patient’s expectations, we provide the ultimate level of comfort, durability, function, and fit in a prosthesis and orthosis – based upon the goals and ability of our patients. MDOP is American Board for Certification Orthotics, Prosthetics, & Pedorthics (ABC) Comprehensive Orthotics & Prosthetics Accredited, an NCOPE approved residency education site for orthotists and prosthetists, a residency site for the Johns Hopkins and Sinai Hospitals Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physicians, and all of our practitioners are ABC Certified.
