Stationed at 220kV Bund Road Switching station. It was commissioned on 24.06.1988, with 4x160MVA, 220/132 KV auto transformers. This grid station is also feeding 2 x 26 MVA transformers. For 220KV bays double bus bar with one & half breaker scheme and for 132 KV bays double bus bar with single breaker scheme is used. My internship includes following jobs.  Study & Preparation of One-line diagrams.  Attend contingencies in Grid systems and review 132kv & 11kv Instrumentation wiring & schematics for rectification of faults.  Study of protection relays includes (distance, differential, over voltage & over current).  Monitoring of SERGI protection system, Buchholz relays, cooling arrangements, breather (Silica gel) and design ratings of 450 MVA auto-transformer.  Witnessed testing of switchgears and power transformers.  Maintenance of fire protection system of 220/132kv grid station.  Maintenance of 11KV feeders and 400V indoor/outdoor switchgear (auxiliary supply) of 220/132KV system.  Grounding & lightning protection layouts and GPR reports.  Study of cooling system for transformers & its types.  220kv & 132kv equipment in stores for emergency.
