  As a system administrator, am in charge of a wider traffic screening system. The system is a blend of information Technology and engineering systems .currently I'm managing the databases and the entire IT infrastructure. The operations run twenty four hours a day and seven days a week. ● I joined and engineered a transition into a new screening system with self auditing capabilities hence a decrease in auditing time. ● The number of trucks screened per day increased from an average of 500 trucks per day to a new average of 1100 trucks as a result of upgrading into the new system.

  Worked for Interim Independent Electoral Commission as the IT technician. Duties involved training the staff on the usage of the NEMS (National elections Management system) software and troubleshooting the Virtual private network. I was in charge of ensuring that the network was up in the three stations under administration.● For the entire registration process and the piloting period, the stations I was managing record an increase in voters’ registration by at least 20%. Worked for Interim Independent Electoral Commission as the IT technician.   Worked with KEMRI/CDC as a community mobilizer on the home based counseling and testing program. KEMRI/CDC had set a target of 70% of the households to accept the program. I decided to make two rounds in order achieve above target threshold. The first was to prepare the community for the program psychologically and the second was meant to win their trust and to make them embrace the program. ● The work plan I had deployed worked positively and in the end I was able absorb 95 households out of 102 into the program.
